SINA RFS – Remote Fire Station™
The Remote Fire Station (RFS) is an innovative, turn-key infrastructure solution designed to provide active fire monitoring and suppression capabilities to remote areas that lack traditional fire fighting infrastructure. The system comprises an automated and remotely controlled integrated BAS and fire detection system, providing a plug and play, easy to operate and maintain active and remote fire fighting system at a lower price point compared to traditional methods. The RFS is a fire fighting and community fire protection infrastructure in a box, providing a full working pressurized fire fighting system, including:
- Self priming pumps with remote start capability
- Heated year round water reservoir
- Fire water monitor with adjustable nozzle
- Battery back up storage
- Four hour fire resistant infrastructure
- Adjustable foundation system with jacks, allowing deployment over uneven ground
- Long range fire and smoke detecting cameras
- Includes 50’ and 100’ heavy duty mast
The RFS also includes internal oxygen tanks along with masks and HEPA filtration and provides safe refuge for up to 10 people in case of an overwhelming fire. Its proprietary design and material selection make it fireproof for up to 4 hours based on accepted Canadian building codes and standards and up to 72 hours with water supply. The RFS comes with its own power generation units, including optional solar and wind energy plants, battery storage, and backup generators, reducing its operational carbon footprint significantly.
The RFS is equipped with a fire detection system that can detect a fire up to 20km away, and heat sensors and cameras can detect a fire nearby as well as branch out sensors to homes and buildings using a 128-channel fire panel. A single RFS can house up to 10,000 liters of water in its reservoir, ready to use at any time, allowing it to fully engage sprinkler heads inside a facility, outdoor, or provide pressurized fire fighting hoses.
The RFS also includes a pressurized adjustable fire water monitor and fire hoses that can be operated remotely, making it one of the first remotely operated active fire fighting tools in remote Canada. Its innovative proprietary design allows for the pipes to run above ground even in cold conditions.
The optional Auxiliary Pump Station allows connection of water line from near by water source, with sub-zero winter option.
RFS is a unique game changer in remote fire fighting, while providing last minute refuge for fire brigades and community with up to 4 hours of fire protection and emergency internal air/oxygen supply tanks.
